Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your J. Coffey Jacket. Because our jackets are unique pieces made in small quantities—and many are one-of-a-kind—we ask that you carefully review the following return and exchange policy before making your purchase.

Returns

Eligible jackets may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original form of payment.

To be eligible for a return, the jacket must be:

• Unworn and unwashed
• In its original condition
• Free from perfume, makeup, stains, pet hair, odors, or signs of wear
• Unaltered and undamaged

Please contact J. Coffey Jackets before sending a return so that we can provide return instructions.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If J. Coffey Jackets provides a prepaid return label, the cost of that label may be deducted from the refund.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

All returned jackets are inspected before a refund is issued. Items that are worn, altered, damaged, or otherwise not returned in original condition may not be eligible for a refund.

Size Exchanges

If you love your jacket but need a different size, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

Size exchanges are subject to availability. Because many of our jackets are made in limited quantities, we cannot guarantee that the same design will be available in another size.

Customers are responsible for return shipping and any shipping charges associated with the replacement jacket.

Exchanging for a Different Jacket or Design

If you would like a completely different jacket, scarf design, collection, or price point, the transaction will be handled as a return of the original jacket and a new purchase, rather than a direct exchange.

Your original jacket must first meet the requirements of our return policy. Any refund will be based on the actual amount paid for the original jacket.

The new jacket will be purchased separately at its current selling price. If the new jacket is more expensive, the price difference will apply.

Because many J. Coffey Jackets are one-of-a-kind or created from limited designer, vintage, or collectible scarves, we cannot hold or reserve another jacket while a return is in transit or being processed. Availability of the new jacket is not guaranteed.

Discounts or promotional pricing from the original purchase do not automatically transfer to a different jacket.

Custom & Special-Order Jackets

Custom jackets, personalized jackets, altered jackets, special-order pieces, and jackets created using a customer-provided jacket or scarf are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Certain rare, limited, or one-of-a-kind pieces may also be designated Final Sale on the individual product listing. Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item or believe your jacket arrived damaged, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery so we can make it right.

Return Window

Returns and exchange requests must be made within 30 days of delivery. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges after the 30-day period.

Thank you for understanding that J. Coffey Jackets is a small Kentucky-based business creating unique pieces in limited quantities. This policy allows us to continue offering one-of-a-kind jackets while still giving our customers flexibility when something doesn't work.
